Term 3 Mime

This week we started mime. We had a great time using our body language, facial expressions to explore acting without words. What are some of the challenges you encounter when performing using mime?

TERM 2 ART

In Visual Arts this term, 6S have been learning about how to create depth and perspective in their artworks. We have used a variety of media in the form of chalk pastels, oil pastels and sketching techniques to make our artworks. We have learnt to divide our page into the foreground, middleground and background and to make things larger in the foreground and smaller in the background to create depth. 

What was your favourite artwork from Term 2 and why?

This week we started improvising using two lines. Each group chose a scene to improvise using first and last line cards.

TERM 2 Week 7

Julien and Rico

This term 6S are working on improvisation. Last week we were given cards with a scene written on them and we had to get into pairs and act them out, adding our own improvisation at the end. It was a great activity and we had a lot of laughs.
